Four to six months before your wedding:
- Hire a cantor from the list provided by the music director.
- If desired, hire additional instrumentalists from the list provided.
- Submit your selected wedding music menu to the music director.
One month before your wedding:
- Contact the music director for assistance with your worship aid or wedding booklet.
One week before your wedding:
- Prepare payment envelopes for the musicians.
At the wedding rehearsal:
- Provide all musician checks to the priest.
Guidelines for Wedding Photographers and Videographers
Please share the following guidelines with your photographers and videographers prior to your wedding day:
- Photographers and videographers must remain outside of the Sanctuary at all times. The Sanctuary is the area up the steps by the altar.
- The processional should not be interrupted for picture-taking.
- Photographers should remain as unobtrusive as possible during the wedding liturgy.
- The church is available for photography one hour before the wedding and 30 minutes after the ceremony.
- All posed photography must be completed at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the wedding.
- Flash photography is not permitted during the ceremony.
- Video cameras must remain stationary throughout the service.
- No cameras are allowed in the Sanctuary area.
- Photographers are asked to be mindful of the sacred nature of the space during all photo sessions.
- The Grotto is available for posed photographs.
- The loft may be used by photographers and videographers.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping to preserve the reverence and sacredness of the ceremony while capturing beautiful memories.
The Wedding Music Form ("with communion" or "no communion")
must be completed and returned to Chris Lord, Director of Liturgy and Music
at least 4 months prior to your wedding.
